Opera Software certainly has something to celebrate this Wednesday, and they want you to know about it. A visit to the company’s website immediately brings the user to a page called “You have new messages!”
The page, in essence, is a recreation of Opera co-founder Jon S. von Tetzchner’s email inbox. The first message: “Out of office auto reply: 150 million Opera users worldwide.”
The message indicates that Opera Software’s P.R. team is not currently in because the are at a pub called “Tranen” in Waldemar Thranes.
It’s certainly an unusual way to celebrate a milestone, but it’s different, and for that, we’ve got to hand it to Opera. Congratulations!
