Both Apple’s United Kingdom and France corporate websites are indicating that iOS 4.1 is slated to be released on September 8th, 2010. Now, just in case you don’t have a calendar in possession, that’s next week. Specifically, that’s next Wednesday.
Among the traditional bug and security fixes, Apple will be including interesting features, such as HDR photography (which snaps 3 images when you’re using the camera; one to overexpose, one at normal exposure, and an underexposed image to create clean shots), game center, iTunes Ping integration, HS video uploading over-the-air, and much more.
As far as when the update will hit on Wednesday — that could vary. Though if we would have to guess, 1PM Eastern is a likely bet.
