Google will hold a Special Event next week on Wednesday, September 8 at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) in San Francisco, California. According to invitations sent out to select members of the press, the event will be focused on the evolution of its search product.
The invitation reads:
“We invite you to join us on Wednesday, September 8, to share our latest technological innovation and to get an inside look at the evolution of Google search.”
Speakers will include Google Vice President of Search Products & User Experience Marissa Mayer, Google Director of Product Management Johanna Wrigh, Google Distinguished Engineer Ben Gomes, and Google Senior Staff Software Engineer Othar Hansson.
Google is known to introduce new products at places other than its headquarters or offices. For example, the company introduced its Music Search product at Capitol Records in Los Angeles, California. Additionally, the company introduced its Google Earth – Ocean View service at the California Academy Of Sciences in San Francisco, California.
