Just as expected, Apple introduced today at its Music Media Event its next generation new iPod Nano. The new device has been completely redesigned from scratch. It’s way smaller than its predecessors. It has shed all its buttons. However, the new device features a multi-touch display. It’s 46% smaller and 42% lighter than the previous generation. It features a pedometers, volume buttons, VoiceOver, FM radio, Nike+, and a clip to eliminate the need of an armbad. It also available in 29 different languages. It can support up to 24 hours of music.
Unfortunately, it appears as if the device no longer features a camera. That’s what the new iPod Touch is for. The new iPod Nano is available for pre-order today. Apple will begin shipping the device as soon as next week.
