Last week, images and details about the upcoming Toshiba SmartPad were leaked by Italian website Notebook Italia. Over the weekend, Notebook Italia [Google Translation] has once again leaked more details about the slate. For instance, it’s said that the device will be officially named “Toshiba Tablet Folio 100″ at launch. The name “SmartPad” is currently used as a category.
As we learned last time, the 10-inch Toshiba Folio 100 will be powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset. It, apparently, will be able to boot in 30 seconds, thanks to the work of Toshiba engineers. The device will be equipped with several applications for web browsing and personal productivity. However, users will also be able to download apps from the Android Market or Toshiba.
