HP Confirms WebOS Slate Launch Early 2011

Tech Blog early reporting HP Releasing First WebOS Slate in Q1 2011 and now its confirmed HP Personal Systems Group Executive Vice President Todd Bradley confirmed once and for all that a webOS-powered tablet will arrive in early 2011, sometime after the company releases a Windows-powered slate. Bradley also indicated that potential tablets were part of the reason why HP acquired Palm earlier this year.

Bradley is quoted as saying the following bit to investors:

“You’ll see us with a Microsoft product out in the near future and a webOS-based product in early 2011.”

Bradley said that in response to a question regarding the tablets. We now have yet to determine when exactly the webOS slate will be made available, and whether or not it will be introduced at CES 2011.
