The image above apparently shows off the exterior design for the iPod Touch 4G, due out in early September. As you may or may not be aware, Apple traditionally sends over design details to case manufacturers before the devices are released, so that there are obviously a plethora to choose from on launch day.
The design for the iPod 4G apparently indicates the device (much like previous versions) will sport a rounded back, with both a camera and flash module. You’ll also notice the device does not have a front-facing camera. A document of this nature wouldn’t make mention of the camera if it didn’t need to be incorporated into the case, so that most definitely means that it may be a possibility.
Why this mock-up is running a previous iteration of iOS is beyond us, but hey, it’s worth bringing up anyway.
It won’t be long until we find out what Apple’s a’brewing.
