Research In Motion (RIM) has officially updated the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac to version 1.0.4. According to the official release notes, this update introduces support for the soon-to-be-released BlackBerry Torch 9800 along with improvements to device connectivity, synchronization, and various fixes.
In addition, the application is also said to include support for Asian languages such as Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
Unfortunately, the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac is still not up to par with it Windows counterpart. The Mac version will specially feel outdated once the new BlackBerry Desktop Manager 6.0 is released for Windows.
Anyway, the new BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac 1.0.4 is available at blackberry.com/mac.
