LG announced today in a press release that it will launch an Android-powered tablet by the end of this year. The company, which already has a Windows 7 tablet computer in the works, states that this Android-powered computer will be different than existing products in the market. LG, however, has not disclosed any specifications or details about this mysterious tablet.
Obviously, LG is going after its biggest rival, Samsung, who has also announced an Android-powered tablet called the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Additionally, LG might be looking to compete against the Apple iPad.
