Samsung revealed on Thursday through a tweet sent by Samsung Blog South Africa an image of its upcoming new Android-powered Galaxy Tab slate. For those of you who don’t know, the tablet features a 7-inch “high resolution” display and Samsung’s very one TouchWiz UI on top of the Android platform. The device is also similarly named to the Samsung Galaxy S, which is the smartphone next to it in the image.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has previously been leaked under codename “S-Pad.” The leak suggested the device would sport an AMOLED display, and that there would be a Samsung App Store for it. However, we cannot confirm that information.
