Google Wave today has finally shed its beta status — becoming a full-on and in-production Google product. You know what that means: everyone’s going to be using it now! Long gone are the days of waiting for an invitation, so now, any user can quite simply sign up and be confused by what Google Wave actually does.
In all seriousness, the shed of the beta label doesn’t quite help the product’s case. We do have to say though; when Wave was introduced last year at Google I/O, numerous blogs [including ON&E BLOG] reported about how great Google Wave could be.
Fast forward a year later — nobody cares. Oops.
