According to the latest analysis of NetApplications Microsoft Internet Explorer is continuously dipping its share in web browser market. For April the share figure for IE is 59.9%, 24.5% for Mozilla Firefox whereas Google Chrome gain is 6.73%.
In March Internet Explorer market share was 60.65% and the latest 59.9% statistics shows the clear decline of IE and experts said that the reason behind this lost is the security related concern and the viable rival web browser like Firefox.
The other reason behind Internet Explorer downward relates to the death of IE6 because of a lot of vulnerability and security issues. A huge number of internet users were on IE6 and at web browser shift time that was not necessarily important for them to continue with the new versions of IE as there are many other rival web browsers choices are available which they have selected to change the experience of internet browsing.
Microsoft has provided the web browser ballot screen with 12 different browsers choices to European Windows Operating system users in result of a ten year dispute with the European Union but this web browser ballot screen issue just has a slight affect over IE share as compare to the expectations but still its there.
Microsoft has unveiled IE9 at MIX 10 in March and made available Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview for developers.
Although, Microsoft is still the dominant in web browser market share and that is quite difficult for rivals to catch up in short time and the new release of Internet Explorer 9 will hot the competition again as it supports HTML 5 the next generation web standards, new JavaScript engine, DOM, CSS3, video standard H.264, and much more.
Most importantly as IE9 is supporting HTML 5 and there will be no need for any third party plug-ins like Flash so it will also have a direct impact on Adobe as Apple already has banned Flash for iProducts.
