Bad news, everyone. Despite the fact that the Apple App Store application began taking reservations for the highly-anticipated and coveted white iPhone 4 this morning, the device is not to become available until the Spring of 2011. Cupertino, California-based Apple Inc. has shamefully been forced to admit that the device has been delayed yet again.
When asked for comment about the white iPhone 4, an Apple spokesperson released the following statement:
“We’re sorry to disappoint customers waiting for the white iPhone yet again, but we’ve decided to delay its release until this Spring.”
As usual, Apple did not elaborate as to what exactly the cause of the delay is. Even though it’s highly suspected that the company has run into manufacturing issues. It’s certainly disappointing, considering that the white iPhone 4 was slated to come out this year. The problem must definitely be very serious, as Apple has failed to meet several of its own deadlines.
At this point, Apple fans are better off waiting for a white iPhone 5 than a white version of the iPhone 4.
