Apple has made available the first beta of the upcoming iOS 4.2 along with the corresponding SDK to registered developers. Apple announced iOS 4.2 at its annual Fall Media Even back on September 1 in San Francisco, California. The platform will released for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch sometime in November of this year.
iOS 4.2 seems to be very promising, as it includes several new features such as wireless printing — which is now dubbed AirPrint — and the new AirPlay feature, which will allows iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch owners to wirelessly stream and transfer content over a Wi-Fi network.
The new iOS 4.2 Beta 1 can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center. Let us know if you find anything, we’ll be sure to report any interesting findings.
