Steve Jobs is at it once again, replying to email messages from what seems to be dissatisfied customers, particularly regarding iPhone 4 signal issues — or when a user of the device covers the phone’s GSM antenna with their hand. Jobs has previously replied to a user’s mail message on the same topic, seemingly making it a non-issue. Now, it’s much of the same.
An email sent by MacRumors user rfbandit to Steve Jobs questioned the possibility of Apple handing out free bumper cases for the device (we’ve talked about this, too).
“I love everything about the phone except my signal issues,” said the user to Jobs.
Almost immediately, Jobs responded:
“There is no reception issue. Stay Tuned.”
Unlikely as it is, perhaps Apple has come up with some sort of remedy via a software update? This past Friday we published a post which noted that possibility.
One thing’s for sure here, however. Apple’s planning to do something.
