Google’s highly-anticipated Chrome OS operating system has seemingly been well talked about these past few months. Not much is known about the final product, and it doesn’t appear as if anyone has a concrete answer as to when the operating system will make its debut.
Google’s vice president of product management Sundar Pichai has shed some like at this year’s CompuTex with regard to the free operating system’s release, albeit not too specific:
“We are working on bringing the device later this fall,” he said. “It’s something which we are very excited by … We expect it to reach millions of users on day one,” he continued.
Of course, we all knew that the OS would make its debut sometime at the end of the year, so this is the best information we’ve come across thus far. We will post anything additional.
