The first day of Google I/O 2010 conference Google has announced an open marketplace Chrome Web Store for web applications. It seems because of its name Chrome Web Store as it is required for users to have Chrome browser to get access to this web app store but in reality that is not the case you can access Chrome Web Store through any advanced web browser.
The Chrome Web Store will provide a platform for developers to sell apps through Google’s payment system and contains free and paid apps. Chrome Web Store launch is set to later this year in 70 countries with 40 supporting languages and it will be accessible on Windows, Mac, Chrome OS and Linux.
