The WWDC 2010 announcement just took place last week, and already, the event is sold out, according to the official WWDC 2010 website. Users who attempt to click the ‘Buy Now’ button, well, can’t. Beside it its big red text reading ‘Sold Out’ (what else?).
It took a little over a week — eight days — for the event to be sold out. Developers around the world are willing to shell out upwards of $1,500 to attend from June 7-11. iPhone OS is expected to be a huge talking point during the event, and we’re likely to see the iPhone 4G make its debut, even though we’ve already caught a glimpse of it (thanks, Gizmodo!).
This is the third consecutive year in which the WWDC conference has sold out.
