While Apple has revealed much of the information regarding the upcoming iPhone 4, the company, as usual, did not reveal the amount of memory on the device. Since the launch of the original iPhone, Apple has never released tech specifications.
Well, it has been confirmed now that the soon-to-be-released iPhone 4 will feature 512MB of RAM. That’s twice that of the iPad and iPhone 3GS, both of which only have 256MB of RAM. The information was revealed by none other than Apple itself during one of its WWDC 2010 sessions last week, which is now available on the Apple Developer Center for registered developers only under the name: “Session 147, Advanced Performance Optimization on iPhone OS, pt 2.”
