More is a premium fruit juice which contains high percentage of real fruit extracts, therefore the name “More” was selected for the brand. The plus (+) icon on the package is used as a symbol to indicate the rich fruit ingredient of More. The plus changes color according to the flavor. White is used all over the package. Plus and white emphasizes the health and triggers the perception of hygene. White is also differentiating the package of More from the other fruit juices on the market shelves and putting it forward. The simplicity of the package is an advantage. Illustrations on the package are effective but not distorting the simplicity.

Aufschwung swing Packaging Design by Gerlinde Gruber
This packaging was designed for the swing Aufschwung by viennese Designer Michael Hensel. The simple and cost-saving cut was made out of corrugated cardboard and needs no adhesive. The design offers optimal characteristics for presentation caused by the open cut. Look and material can be seen and touched without opening the packaging. Grip holes provide an opportunity for easy carrying. The packaging design is heavily inspired by the swings shape and function.

FUNE Sushi Takeaway Packaging Design by Gerlinde Gruber
This packaging design is inspired by the streamlined frames of ships and fish. The material saving cut, needs no complex graphics and is easy to assemble without adhesive.
It includes a carrier for the soy sauce cup and the chopsticks are used as a needle for closing. The containers are space saving, reduced to its essentials. Biodegradable PET-coated cardboard was chosen, as it’s an eco-friendly material that can be recycled along with normal waste paper. It gives the finished product a clean look. Red and black were picked as they are strong colours associated with Japanese culture.

It’s possible to store and send it flat, easy to fold up – without adhesion. It can be used upright or hanging. The rolling creases are reminiscent of the seal’s shape
