Mobile advertising platform AdMob a subsidiary of Google launch Windows Phone 7 SDK in beta. The SDK has been specifically designed to take advantage of the unique Windows Phone 7 UI.
Google Director of Engineering of Mobile Ads Mark Schaaf explains:
“With the Windows Phone 7 SDK, developers can easily integrate advertising into their applications, control where the ads appear, and what types of ads are shown in their apps. The SDK supports text and banner ads with a variety of post click actions including opening a webpage and linking directly to the App Marketplace.”
To download the new Windows Phone 7 Beta SDK, developer must log into their AdMob account.
In addition, the company made it know that it has updated both the iOS and Android SDKs in order to include enhanced HTML5 functionality as well as support for full screen interstitial formats for tablets. Android and iOS developers can obtain the new SDKs by logging into their AdMob accounts.
