Google Docs Desktop Version Available for iPad

It’s a feature we’re betting scores of users have asked for, and it’s now arrived. We’re talking the desktop version of Google Docs — it’s now available in all its glory on Apple’s magical, revolutionary, fantastic, wonderful, unicorn-like iPad.

See, users looking for advanced editing options when it comes to their Google Docs can simply turn on Desktop mode (from within Google Docs mobile) and get themselves going (see screenshots above).That means you’ll have full editing access to word documents, spreadsheets, and more. How convenient!

Google’s recommending that iPad users stick to mobile, however, given that it was specifically designed for the iPad — but the option to go advanced is certainly there, should you need it.
