Apple Inc. has released the Gold Master [GM] version of its upcoming iOS 4.2 mobile platform for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch along with the respective SDK. As usual, iOS 4.2 GM is available at the Apple Developer Center to registered developers only.
At the moment, it’s currently unknown what’s new. However, many are already scrambling to find out whether new things have been added or removed.
This is great news, as this indicates that the final build of iOS 4.2 will become available to the general public soon. Apple will make iOS 4.2 available for the iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, and iPod Touch 4G, 3G, and 2G.
