Google Launch Google Latitude Website

Google Latitude has been available for mobile devices only. However,  Google announced yesterday on the Official Google Mobile Blog the introduction of a dedicated Google Latitude website that now allows users to find/track their friends and share their location from the comfort of a computer. In addition, users can use Google Latitude Apps.

Previously, Google Latitude users were able to use the service as an iGoogle gadget only, which was somewhat inconvenient for some. The new Google Latitude site features three tabs — Friends, History, and Apps — that will make provide users with a better experience.

The new Google Latitude website is located at www.google.com/latitude.
