Microsoft will hold its “Beauty of the Web” event later today at the Concourse Exhibition Center in San Francisco, California. As many of you might or might not know, Microsoft will introduce and publicly launch its highly anticipated Internet Explorer 9 Beta.
We have already been able to test the underlying new IE9 JavaScript engine through several developer previews. We have even gotten a sneak peek at the new Internet Explorer 9 interface via official and unofficial means.
Microsoft originally announced the new Internet Explorer 9 last year in November at the Professional Developers Conference [PDC] in Los Angeles, California. The new IE9 browser by Microsoft is expected to offer greater support of modern standards such as HTML5 and CSS3.
