You could say that today is a highly-anticipated day for the tech community. Apple will be holding their annual “music” event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California.
The world isn’t certain as to what Apple will announce today, but there’s a whole lot of conjecture circulating.
The company is expected to launch a completely redesigned iPod Nano device, sans clickwheel — effectively making the device a tiny screen. In addition, Apple is expected to launch a next generation iPod Touch multimedia device, complete with a new form-factor, front and rear facing cameras, and FaceTime video-chatting capabilities.
Apple’s next generation Apple TV may also make its debut tomorrow. Noise on the blogosphere indicates that the company will be focused on streaming media, of which includes $0.99 TV Show rentals, and Netflix streaming.
This is going to be a fantastic event in the sense that Apple will be broadcasting it live to users of Apple devices (Macs, iPhones, iPads, etc.), which will allow for consumers to see for themselves what Apple will be launching in the very, very near future.
As always, we’ll be following Apple closely and keeping you informed along the way.
