There’s been talk about a Verizon iPhone since, well, the iPhone came out. We’re no strangers to rumors, so here’s some more conjecture about the device that could hit stores early next year.
Blog DVICE has published a post on Thursday indicating that “a source who claims to have handled prototypes of the rumored Verizon iPhone” has revealed some interesting information. The source says: a new internal antenna, a more rugged exterior, a faster processor (1.2Ghz), and a retina display.
Look, I really, really want to believe this, but I’m calling B.S. right off the bat. A “source” would not want to openly speak about handling prototypes unless they’re about ready to quit their jobs. Minor elements (like release dates, information on accessories) are believable.Certainly, this is likely just a way to get pageviews, and it’s working.
