Google officially announced on Thursday via a tweet that in just 24 hours after Google Voice was integrated into Gmail, more than one million calls were placed. Truly, an impressive number. However, we do have to bear in mind that right after the service was announced, everyone with a Google Voice account rushed to try out the new service.
Additionally, the service was accidentally made available in countries other than the United States. Google subsequently pulled the service from international markets.
Either way, one million calls in 24 hours is still superb.
