There’s an awful lot of hoopla surrounding the next generations of the iPod. So when rumors recently surfaced that Apple would be holding a press event in mid-August, the web went abuzz.
We’re not going to speculate and fill your screen with useless conjecture, though. Here’s what we’re going to say: if Apple does indeed plan to hold an event next week, we will find out today. Why? Simple. The company generally sends out invites one week prior to events, and generally on Tuesdays.
So there you have it. If something is going to happen next week, we’ll be finding out about it in the early morning. Check back. When and if we learn about the event, we’ll post it here.
