It’s becoming somewhat of a tradition for Adobe to demo its Flash Player 10.1 platform on many of the newest Android products. Just last month, the company demoed Flash Player 10.1 on the Motorola Droid X. Today, Adobe Group Product Marketing Manager Diana Helander offers a preview of Flash Player 10.1 on the upcoming Motorola Droid 2, which is to be released on Thursday, August 12.
As other Adobe employees have demoed before, Helander shows off the Flash Player capabilities on Flash-powered websites such as CBS, CNET, and The Sims 3.
The company also corroborates on the Adobe Featured Blogs that Flash Player 10.1 will come pre-installed on the new Motorola Droid 2 as part of the new Android 2.2 (Froyo) platform. Adobe also indicates that Flash Player 10.1 will be supported by several other smartphones such as HTC Incredible, the Samsung Galaxy S, Motorola Milestone, and Motorola Droid X in the coming weeks. You know what that means, right? The aforementioned devices will soon be upgraded to Android 2.2 [Froyo].
