Research In Motion has released another teaser video showcasing its upcoming BlackBerry OS 6.0, also known as BlackBerry 6. This is second preview video, after the sneak peek released during WES 2010. According to RIM VP of Handheld Software Product Management Andrew Bocking, BlackBerry 6 is on track to be released this Summer.
As you can see in the video below, many of the much awaited features such as the new WebKit browser, social feeds, and more are showcased. The new OS is looking great, and we can’t wait to try it out ourselves. Unfortunately, it’s unknown at this point whether the new BlackBerry 6 will be available for some of the existing devices or not.
Bocking writes on the official Inside BlackBerry blog:
“In addition to the new fluid user interface, the video illustrates a few of the new applications and features in BlackBerry 6 that are designed to provide users with a mobile experience that is fun and approachable, yet extremely powerful.”
