myTouch 3G Slide T-Mobile To Launch June 2nd

If you’ve been waiting around to get the myTouch 3G Slide T-Mobile, you can rest easy, because the wait won’t be much longer. The device, which will be available in the colors of red, white, and black will be launched on Wednesday, June 2nd, for $179.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. You’ll be required to sign up for a two-year agreement, as is typically the case.

The launch date set my T-Mobile is an interesting one. Just days later, on the 4th of June, Sprint will be launching their EVO 4G by HTC, and we could even see the official announcement of Apple’s iPhone 4G a week later — which is expected to launch for AT&T and maybe even Verizon Wireless.
