Apple Inc. has once again seeded another beta build of its upcoming Mac OS X 10.6.5 operating system to registered developers. This version has been officially labeled Build 10H571, and it comes just four days after the company made available the tenth version — Build 10H568. In addition, Apple distributed on Thursday the first build of Mac OS X 10.6.6. Some found it strange, given that Mac OS X 10.6.5 is not even available yet.
According to the official release notes, developers who installed Mac OS X 10.6.6 on Thursday must go back to Mac OS X 10.6.4 in order to install Build 10H571 of Mac OS X 10.6.5.
No issues have been documented. Apple has asked developers to focus their testing on the same areas, including 3D Graphics, Printing, QuickTime, Time Machine, and USB Devices.
