Apple Launches New iPhone 4 Ad Campaign Focused on FaceTime Video-Calling Service

Cupertino-based Apple has launched a new iPhone 4 advertisement campaigm consisting of four 30-second TV commercials fully focused on its new FaceTime video-calling service. Two of the commercials are very emotional, while the other two are a bit more fun.

As it is typical with Apple commercials, the new ads don’t really describe the product at all. As a matter of fact, it’s not until the very end, during the AT&T slide, that it’s made clear that “FaceTime requires iPhone 4 and Wi-Fi.” The commercials just show off the iPhone 4 with FaceTime.

It would have been better if Apple showed off some of the other iPhone 4 features, or explained FaceTime a little bit better. Something more as the iPad commercial released in May, which manages to explain and show many features in just 30 seconds.
