The new Windows Live Essentials Beta has become available. The suite of programs is now available for download in Dutch, English, French, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.
According to Microsoft, the new Windows Live Essentials Beta includes the following programs:
- Photo Gallery – Edit, organize, tag, and share your photos.
- Mail [Hotmail] – Read and reply to multiple e‑mail accounts in one place.
- Movie Maker – Create beautiful, memorable movies, then publish to the web in a few clicks.
- Messenger – Chat instantly with friends and family on your desktop, on the web, and on your mobile phone.
- Writer – Compose a blog post, add your photos and links to your videos, and then publish on the web.
- Family Safety – Manage and monitor your children’s Internet activity so they can surf the web more safely.
- Bing Bar – Get search results from Bing without leaving the website you’re on.
- Messenger Companion – Easily share and discuss social updates while you surf the web in Internet Explorer.
- Sync – Sync your files between computers and access your primary PC from almost any Internet-connected computer.
Additionally, Microsoft Office Outlook Connector and Microsoft Silverlight may be installed with Windows Live Essentials.
