Palm has officially begun rolling out webOS 1.4.1.1 for the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus on Verizon Wireless. The announcement was made some hours ago by Palm itself via a tweet. According to the official changelog, the new version brings various bug fixes and enhancements to current functions. The update does not bring anything extremely exciting or new. Though we are pretty sure that many Pre Plus and Pixi Plus owners will appreciate the fact that they can now press a key and it won’t generate a letter twice, pinching/zooming documents now work as it should, videos uploaded to YouTube will always include audio and video, and more.
The update — as usual — will be automatically downloaded OTA [over-the-air] in the coming days. Impatient folks can open the “Updates” application to download on-demand.
