Toshiba TG01 SmartPhone

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the carrier that will finally get to host the much-hyped Toshiba TG01 touch smartphone and the answer is Orange UK, as the Windows mobile phone was spotted on the carriers website. The most talked about point of the phone is the snapdragon processor which promises to be uber fast.

Though the official release date for the phone is the 9th of July, it now seems sure that Orange would offer the smartphone which is hailed as the slimmest touch screen phone that runs on Windows. Along with WM 6.1 and 6.5UI, Toshiba will also offer its own UI.

The phone is blessed with a 4.1″ WVGA 800×480 touchscreen. It will support 3G, UMTS/HSPA connectivity and should be available sometime later this month. [via]
